Subject: COMPETITION EUROPEENNE DANS LE MULTIMEDIA

This mailing is to draw your attention to a new European competition
for extraordinary Multimedia productions. We would kindly like to ask
you as a multiplier to pass this information to potentially interested
persons in your country.

All entries should be marketable products and no demonstration
prototypes are accepted.
Products should have been published within the last two years.
They must be released for general distribution or open access,
before June 30th, 1998.
The use of pictures, sound, contents, etc. must conform to
existing copyright rules and legislation. The person signing the
submission  must be lawfully entitled to do so.

Evaluation Criteria:
- General realisation of concept
- Clarity of address to users and markets, incl. pertinence of the
  choice of media elements with regard to the target audience
- Quality of the interface design, incl. the interaction established
  with the user
- Functionality and esthetic value
- Development and production quality
- Value added by the multimedia format to accomplish the purpose
   of the content-topics

Entries to be submitted before June 30th, 1998 to the Europrix
Secretariat.
The winners will be celebrated at a Gala Evening in Vienna at the end
of November and a series of publications and events are planned in
order to promote Europe´s best in multimedia.
