CEA-LETI is seeking R&D partners for FWP5 projects

LETI is one of the most important European laboratories for applied research
in Electronics. It mainly aims at helping Companies to increase their
competitiveness through technology innovation by transferring to them its
know-how.

Some data about LETI :

*	the laboratory is located in Grenoble and Saclay (near Paris)
*	LETI is part of the CEA (French Atomic Energy Commission).
*	8,500 m2 Clean Room in Grenoble. Equipments are worth some 120
million Euros.
*	Human potential : about 950 persons among which 748 CEA employees ,
104 industry employees and 98 other collaborators (PhD students,
post-doc...).
*	Yearly budget ~ 100 million Euros.

LETI activities :

*	Micro-electronics (VLSI, smart power, hyperfrequency, long term
research on future micro-electronics)
*	Microtechnologies (Magnetic recording, magnetic micro-components,
micro-sensors, micro-systems, micro-interconnect, micro-assembly, micro-tips
displays, ...)
*	Optronics (infrared detectors, microlasers and telemetry, integrated
optics and micro-optics, thin films for optics, polymer components, ...)
*	Informatics (parallel computing and information processing,
dependability and safety of programmed systems,...).
*	Instrumentation (biological and medical instrumentation, biochips,
transmission and tele-powering, non destructive control, nuclear
instrumentation)

We have been partners in a good many of FWP 4 projects, mainly (but not
only)in ESPRIT and are currently seeking partners for new projects in FWP 5
(mainly but not only in IST) in the above domains.
