The EU's Seventh Framework Programme for research and development (FP7) includes collaborative projects and networks of excellence. During their initial negotiation with the Commission, these projects may reserve a portion of their budgets for specific tasks to be carried out by a new beneficiary (or beneficiaries), who will join the consortium at a later date. These new beneficiaries will be selected from proposals submitted in response to a "competitive call". For organisations interested in joining ongoing FP7 projects, the competitive call announcement will be published on CORDIS, with a link to the website of the project. The project consortium will publish all necessary documentation and background information on their website. Project acronym: TOBI Project contract number: 224631 Call announcement: The project TOBI currently active in the Seventh Framework program of the European Community for research, technological development and demonstration activities contributing to the creation of the European research area and to innovation (2007-2013) requires the participation of a new project partner to carry out certain tasks within the project. We have a vacancy in our consortium for an industrial partner established in an EU Member State or Associated State, to perform the following tasks: a) Support the development of one or more Application and/or Research project areas, according to applicant experience. b) Actively participate in the development of TOBI industrial strategy to bring TOBI results in the field of BCI technology to the market. Deadline: The call closes on 2 June 2010 at 17h00 (Brussels time) Estimated costs and funding for the tasks: Total EC funding available for new partners is up to € 480.000 Call identifier: TOBI CALL FOR AN INDUSTRIAL PARTNER Language in which proposal should be submitted: English Web address for further information (full call text/proposal guidelines): http://www.tobi-project.org/call-partner Mail address for further information: nl.millan@hsantalucia.it Complementary Organic Semiconductor and Metal Integrated Circuits Project Project acronym: COSMIC Project contract number: 247681 Call announcement: The deadline for submission of proposals to the COSMIC competitive call described below has now been extended to 26th May. The project COSMIC currently active in the Seventh Framework programme of the European Community for research, technological development and demonstration activities contributing to the creation of the European research area and to innovation (2007-2013) requires the participation of a new project partner to carry out certain tasks within the project. We have a vacancy in our consortium for a partner established in an EU Member State or Associated State, and having comprehensive expertise in the research area of organic integrated circuits. The new partner's task is to demonstrate the project developments in an ambitious lead application for organic integrated circuits, e. g. a line driver circuit for QVGA displays (240 lines) or a comparable flexible organic circuit of similar complexity. The work includes specification, design, fabrication and characterisation of the integrated circuit, which must be based on p- and n-type organic semiconductors and has to be fabricated in the final stage on foil substrates. Deadline: The call closes on 26 May 2010 at 17h00 (Brussels time) Expected duration of participation in project: June 2010 to December 2013 Estimated costs and funding for the tasks: Total EC funding available for new partners is up to € 444.750 Call identifier: COSMIC-partner8 Language in which proposal should be submitted: English Web address for further information (full call text/proposal guidelines): http://www.project-cosmic.eu Mail address for further information: info@project-cosmic.eu Haptic, Audio and Visual Interfaces for Maps and Location Based Services Project acronym: HAPTIMAP Project contract number: ICT-2007-224657 Call announcement: The HAPTIMAP project currently active in the Seventh Framework programme of the European Community for research, technological development and demonstration activities contributing to the creation of the European research area and to innovation (2007-2013) requires the participation of a new commercial project partner to carry out certain tasks within the project. We have a vacancy in our consortium for up to two new commercial partners established in an EU Member State or Associated State to develop a map or location based service that uses haptic, audio and/or visual information for the interaction. An alternative would be to enhance an existing service. The expected spread and impact of the service is important: We want to strengthen the project by adding commercial applications/services that demonstrate the usefulness of our designs. Deadline: The call closes on 24 March 2010 at 17h00 (Brussels time) Expected duration of participation in project: June 2010 to August 2012 Estimated costs and funding for the tasks: Total EC funding available for new partners is up to EUR 200,000 Call identifier: haptimap_competitive_call Language in which proposal should be submitted: English Web address for further information (full call text/proposal guidelines): http://www.haptimap.org/competitive-call.html Mail address for further information: HaptiMap-management@design.lth.se Ces informations vous sont communiquées par les représentants au comité de gestion du programme Olivier ROUX du MESR ert Patrick SCHOULLER du MEIE Ce message vous est distribué parce que vous êtes sur une liste de gens potentiellement intéressés par les informations nationales ou communautaires relatives à la société de l'information.
