l'Union européenne a mis en place un programme 'Safer internet Action
Plan", pour promouvoir la sécurité sur Internet. Un des projets retenus par
ce programme, le projet SafeBorders organise une sensibilisation en Pologne

SafeBorders is an EC funded awareness campaign aimed at making Internet a
safer, more enjoyable and satisfying place for all. The SafeBorders
consortium, in collaboration with the Council of Europe, is currently
organising a European forum in Warsaw, Poland, on 26th and 27th March 2004.
One of the underlying objectives of this event, entitled "Internet with a
human face - a common responsibility", is the creation of a pan-European
network capable of ensuring that Internet becomes a vehicle for furthering
freedom of expression and reinforcing basic human rights. Delegates from
all parts of western, central and eastern Europe will be present from
fields as widely diverse as human rights protection agencies and hotlines,
educational institutions, media, industry and service providers.
Key European and international organisations present will include the
European Commission, the European Economic and Social Committee, the
Council of Baltic Sea States, UNESCO, European Internet Co-regulation and
Self-regulation networks and national government authorities.
Workshops, round table discussions and question-answer sessions will
showcase noteworthy projects and initiatives and offer a platform for
public debate on the roles and responsibilities of each of us in
implementing future actions that will increase the opportunities and
diminishing the risks related to the use of Internet.
