plein droit au programme vient de nous envoyer huit propositions de partenariats (entreprises,
ministère et académiques)
As you might know, Slovenia has signed the MoU agreement and as of January
2003 joined the eContent
programme.
To facilitate the participation of Slovenian companies in the forthcoming

PIA is a software engineering company specialized in development of
products and applications
in the following areas: web applications, CNC tools and applications, ODL -
open & distance learning and
computer based learning. It sells its products in Slovenia, EU and USA.
eContent project proposal:
Teaching science classic way is difficult and time consuming. After
tutoring of basics every student has to solve a big number of practical
exercises.
e-Learning is known word but it does not have solution for this problem.
There are houndreds of different solutions for teaching science but
practicaly none has ability to properly show difficult equations, calculate
with them and offer student many different forms of exercises. If still
does, this solutions are not WEB based or just in English language.
Outcome of the project should be Eurepean, multi-platform, multilingual
interactive science teaching network, available on the internet. It should
feature most advanced currently available multimedia technology to perform
e-learning tasks (see attached presentation).
Developed exercises will consist many different objects, from text to
mathematical equations which will be shown and calculated online depending
on the every time changed input values. Student result will be checked
on-line with the tips for solving parts of exercise with wrong answer. All
exercises will be grouped into workbooks, adopted to curriculums and
localised for pan-European usage.
We expect from 5 to 8 partners from different countries, four of them for
content provider (schools, institutions, e-learning providers ...), two
technological suppliers (web programming firms, e-learning portals
developers, with deep knowledge and experience of latest standards - XML,
MathML, SVG, relational databases ...) and one business planning partner
for continuing profit development of Vega science school.
