The Telecommunications Dept. of the Institute of Mathematics and
Informatics - Bulgarian Academy of Sciences is a coordinator of a team of
scientists who have worked successfully on many national and international
projects in the field of Telecommunications and Information Society.

We are looking for partners for participation in the 5th FP in the
following fields:

IV.3.3 - Methods and tools for intelligence and knowledge sharing
	
We have experience in the following fields:
- Graphic languages for description of computing and communication systems;
- Concepts and Methods of Information Modelling;
- Logic-based knowledge representation (Terminological and Feature Logics,
Conceptual Graphs, KIF, KQML);
- Knowledge acquisition and reuse, design of ontologies;
- Natural language processing systems (Grammar Engineering, Acquisition of
Linguistic Knowledge, Morphology, HPSG);
- User interface (Adaptive User Interfaces).

V.1.3 - CPA3: Design-for-all for an inclusive information society

We have experience in the following fields:
- Dynamics of Interconnection Between Human Factors and Technical
Characteristics of Communications Systems;
- Traffic Modelling and Forecasting;
- Users' Behaviour Modelling;
- Information Modelling of Telecommunications Systems;
- Development of Strategy and National Programme for Development of
Information Society in the Republic of Bulgaria.

V.1.4 - CPA4: New indicators and statistical methods (may be for the second
call)

We have experience in the following fields:
- Development of Strategy and National Programme for Development of
Information Society in the Republic of Bulgaria.
