Action plan on promoting safer use of the Internet
Information Day, 19th April 1999, Jean Monnet Building, Kirchberg, Luxembourg
The purpose of the Information Day is two-fold:
. Commission experts will summarise the main points of the procedure for
calls for proposals, and answer questions. All of the information given will
of course also be available on line. encourage consortium-building by
allowing interested parties to meet.
. Commission officials will also be able to give informal advice whether a
project idea falls within the scope of the calls for proposals. Any view
expressed is without prejudice to the final decision which will depend on
the evaluation of the proposal which is made including a review by
independent evaluators, and a Commission decision after completing internal
procedures.
