Le forum ISSE (Information Security Solutions Europe) est la plus grande
manifestation europeenne dans le domaine de la Securite des Systemes
d'Information, le pendant europeen de la celebre conference RSA.

Le forum ISSE se tiendra cette annee a Paris Disneyland, du 2 au 4octobre
(apres Berlin en 1999, Barcelone en 2000, Londres en 2001).

Les propositions de temoignages d'utilisateurs, tout comme de presentations
de fournisseurs de produits et services de securité sont acceptes jusqu'au
25 fevrier a l'adresse suivante :

sous la forme d'un resume de 50 à 100 mots accompagne d'une biographie
(maxi 200 mots).
Les contributions françaises seront particulierement bienvenues.

                                 ISSE 2002
             INFORMATION SECURITY SOLUTIONS EUROPE CONFERENCE

                               Paris, France

                             2-4 October 2002


EEMA - The European Forum for Electronic Business TeleTrusT - The
Association for the Promotion of Trustworthiness of IT-Systems

ISSE is the European institution for the presentation and discussion of
technical, organisational, legal and political concepts for information
security and data protection.

More than ever the focus of ISSE will be on security as a part of business
processes and electronic transactions. One of the biggest challenges today
is to implement information security: issues like return of investment,
total cost of ownership as well as interoperability are of great
importance. First examples of successful applications can be seen for
example in eGovernment, the financial sector and enterprise security.
ISSE will focus in 2002 on real live examples and case studies from
different business sectors and fields: eGovernment and public sector,
healthcare, eBusiness, financial sector and enterprise security.

The focus on applications of information security is accompanied by a
presentation of the relevant technologies for security architectures,
authentication and identity management: up-dates on hard ware security,
biometrics, standardisation, evaluation, network and wireless security, as
well as discussions of data and consumer protection issues, privacy and
electronic signatures legislation. The newly established track on risk
management, vulnerabilities and threats will also be continued to
compliment the scope of ISSE.

ISSE 2002 is organised by independent organisations under the auspices of
the European Commission Directorate General Information Society and
supported by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.

ISSE 2002 runs over three days and is accompanied by an exhibition.

En temps que fonctionnaire du ministere de l'Economie des Finances et de
l'Industrie et representant national français dans plusieurs comites de
programmes communautaires (IST - TEN TELECOM  - IAP - PROMISE) je dispose de
beaucoup d'informations sur les activites communautaires (et nationales
françaises) relatives à la societe de  l'information et ses activites
(annonces
d'appels a proposition, de recherche de partenaires, d'organisation de congres
etc...)qui peuvent interesser les acteurs de cette societe de l'information.
C'est pourquoi je diffuse un  certain nombre de messages, comme celui
ci-dessus. Votre adresse figure dans ma liste car vous avez sans doute
participe a une activite de ce type et je pense que vous etes interesse.
